The Christian Welfare Association was established with the core mission of uplifting and supporting the Christian community, especially those from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds.

In its first official meeting, held under the leadership of Mr. Iruthayaraj Mr. L. James, the Association laid a strong foundation for its future course of action. A key resolution was passed to engage with the Tenkasi District Minority Welfare Office, aiming to help Christians access the welfare schemes offered by both State and Central Governments.
Mr.Iruthayaraj Mr. James, in his inaugural address, emphasized the Association’s commitment to community development, education, and empowerment.




The Association also announced the decision to open a dedicated account in a nationalized bank to ensure financial transparency and accountability in all its welfare initiatives.
